About

Bristol Recycled is a new business that aims to create meaningful employment for women in a creative local industry - and to find creative ways to use waste textiles. We emerged from the Gloucester Road Alternative Bags Campaign (GRAB) - going plastic bag free is good for the environment, and good for local businesses - and so naturally shop keepers wanted to know if there were bags available that had been made in the UK.

Our bags are made in our workshops, based at Silai for Skills in Easton, Bristol.

Bristol Recycled is supported by several local businesses, including 2QAB Community Interest Company, and Silai for Skills who are hosting the project in their workshops in Easton.

Bristol Recycled is a not-for-profit enterprise.
